The Order of Engineers (OE) in 2019 summoned Portuguese engineers to the commemorations of the National Engineer's Day, which take place in the city of Évora between the 22nd and 23rd of November.
The National Engineer's Day is celebrated annually to commemorate the foundation of the Order, on November 24, 1936, completing in 2019 exactly 83 years as the Order of Engineers and 150 years as a representative entity of Portuguese Engineering, as it is the successor of the first professional association of engineers existing in Portugal, the Portuguese Civil Engineers Association, created in 1869.
The National Engineer's Day ends with a dinner at the emblematic Cadaval Palace.
