It actually originated in Ancient Greece a very long time ago. Lasagna, or “Lasagne” is derived from the Greek word 'Laganon' which is the first known form of pasta. Laganon wasn't traditionally lasagna like we know it. It used to be layers of pasta and sauce. Join in National Lasagna Day on July 29th and bake up a pan of the Italian pasta dish.
You may be surprised to find just how many wings the average American eats every year. The world-record for most chicken wings ever is 444. In an eating event known as the 2015 Wing Bowl, a man by the name of Patrick Bertoletti ate 444 wings in just 26 minutes.
