A sister is someone who loves you from the heart. No matter how much you argue, you cannot be drawn apart. She is a joy that cannot be taken away. Sisters Day was initiated by social media users in 2012. A recent study by psychologists Liz Wright and Tony Cassidy found that having a sister makes you happier and more optimistic, but the same is not true for having a brother. A study from Brigham Young University found that people with sisters experience less guilt, loneliness, and feelings of fear overall than people without sisters.
Sisters, either older or younger, are a major factor in siblings having more positive emotions.
