The Peruvian Nutritionist's Day is celebrated every August 6th, in which homage and recognition is paid to the professionals who watch over the health, functioning and nutrition of the organism, dedicating themselves in an equanimous way to the nutritional care of people.
Every August 6th, the Peruvian Nutritionist Day is commemorated, a day that pays tribute to those professionals who care for the health and functioning of the body, from the point of view of food and nutrition.
This day was established on August 6th, when the first graduating class of the School of Dietitians, founded in 1947 and established in the Guillermo Almerana Hospital, pioneer in the training of Dietitians and Nutritionists in Peru, graduated.
During this day, several health establishments in Peru perform demonstrations and tastings of healthy food with high nutritional values, according to the metabolic alterations and needs of each person.
