Libraries Day in Spain

Since 2019, the slogan 'Suitable for all audiences' has been incorporated into the celebration, which will be present in all activities that are launched. In addition, the celebration of Libraries Day has since then a different thematic thread each year.

There are many ways in which libraries serve and care for citizens. The promotion of reading is the first of them: libraries are spaces for reading. Reading that accompanies, entertains and enriches. Reading that heals: reading has a direct impact on the development and maintenance of cognitive abilities as well as on well-being and mental health.
