National Book Day in Mexico

There is no greater delight than carefully and conscientiously turning the pages of a good book, while we look through that network of words that, when joined together, give shape to the unique stories that the authors of such books have decided to share with those who are willing to read them.

Reading is an act of intellectual growth that contributes in multiple aspects, because in addition to providing the tools to expand our vocabulary, it also helps us to have more expressive resources when it comes to sharing our ideas.

National Book Day in Mexico is celebrated on November 12, as a tribute to Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz, who was born precisely on this date. In this way, the birth of the "Tenth Muse" is linked to the celebration of letters, books and reading, since these concepts are directly related to knowledge and intellectual growth, of which Sor Juana is a wonderful exponent, as well as a national example.
