Nothing can shake the wild garlic of Eberbach. Neither snow, frost or storms and certainly not announced floods stop the wild leek plant from sprouting in fresh green in forests and meadows just in time for the Wild Garlic Days.
In addition to its beautiful old town, Eberbach is also known for its Victoria cake and the Wild Garlic Days. These take place every year from mid-March to mid-April. Wild garlic walks and other activities are offered.
Some people are crazy about it, others can't "smell" it: wild garlic. All lovers of this plant, which is related to onions and garlic, will get their money's worth at the Wild Garlic Days. The focus is on culinary delights. Anyone who wants to get to grips with the distinctive-smelling leek plant will have plenty of opportunity to do so. For four weeks, the participating Eberbach restaurateurs will spoil you with all kinds of delicious variations on the "culinary wild garlic route".
