This is the Christmas market in Lorsch. Of course, the Christmas market also offers lots of delicious food and drink, as well as Christmas crafts for sale.
The festivities take place on Karolingerplatz, at the foot of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Lorsch Monastery, and on the monastery meadow. Buildings, trees, the monastery wall and much more shine in blue light on this day.
The stalls of the market participants, the Königshalle and the basilica fragment are all lit up in blue. Musical Christmas program by clubs and artists.
