The Müritz Sail is an annual folk festival on the Müritz and started in 2002 as the "little sister of the Hanse Sail". With the support of Rostock, it has developed into a major maritime event known and recognized throughout Germany. The main venue is Waren (Müritz).
There are several regattas, opti races with paddles, tug-of-war on the water, a water ski show, parasailing, dragon boat races, fireworks shot from the water, a fleet parade, water planes, canoe races and a fisherman's joust.
There will also be a jet ski show, a children's festival, sightseeing flights with a seaplane, flying with an e-foilboard, Müritz Autotrend, Kram- & Kunststücke, Night in the Müritzeum and other program items.
