The Dippemess has been held at various locations in Frankfurt throughout its history. The fairground on Ratsweg in front of the Frankfurt ice rink is the current venue for the Dippemess in spring.

The Dippemess retains many traditional elements, including the traditional pottery market, which is a reminder of the festival's origins. In addition, the parade, the tapping of the keg beer and the fireworks display are also permanent fixtures.
