The Theelfest Lebach is an annual festival in the Saarland town of Lebach in Germany. Here you can walk, party and dance. In 2024, the most important events at Theelfest Lebach are, for example: the Lebach levoBank city run. It starts on Friday at 17:00. The course runs alongside the festival site. The program also includes children's and disabled races as well as races over various distances, including the championship race of the Saar Athletics Association.
Official opening and musical entertainment: The official beer tapping will take place on Friday at 20:30. Afterwards, the band "Kamelle-Kapelle" will play Cologne hits, German New Wave and Schlager on the stage of the Hyundai-Autohaus-Alt-Bühne.
Saturday concert: On Saturday at 5:30 pm, the band "Smokin' Strings" will play ballads from the 60s and 70s, classics from the 80s and 90s and blues. At 8.30 pm, the cover band "Finally" will take to the stage.
The festival also offers a variety of food and drink stalls, including cocktails, wine, fresh beer, pizza, pasta, tarte flambée, schnitzel, chips and waffles.
LEBach/BITchE Bitche, Lebach's twin town, is only around an hour's drive away. The people of Lebach have maintained a friendship with the fortified town in Lorraine for 40 years now, which has grown and matured over the decades. Mutual visits, for example to the Citadel Festival in Bitche or the town festival and later the Theelfest in Lebach, are firmly anchored in the event calendars of both towns.
Many people from Lebach particularly appreciate the friendly conversations at these festivals - but also the culinary delicacies that the people from Lorraine bring with them.
