The Echelon Festival is an annual electronic music festival that takes place in Bad Aibling, Bavaria. The Echelon Festival began in 2009 as a purely open-air festival. Over the years, it has grown into one of the largest festivals of its kind in Bavaria. In 2011, it was awarded the Bavarian Festival Prize as the "most culturally valuable music festival 2011". Since then, it has developed into an independent festival for electronic music and attracts thousands of visitors from all over Europe every year.
