The Made in Germany Festival is an intercultural theater festival that takes place in various cities in Germany. The Made in Germany Intercultural Theater Festival takes place in Stuttgart. It lasts five days and offers a variety of performances, including comedies, sketches and shows. Artists and groups from all over Germany present their works in various theaters in the city. The aim of the festival is to showcase the city's vibrant and diverse intercultural theater scene.
The Forum der Kulturen Stuttgart e. V. has been organizing intercultural theater festivals since 2006 - since 2011 under the name Made in Germany.
The intercultural theater festival presents productions from all over Germany that deal with the immigration society in an artistically diverse way. It offers an overview of the German performing arts scene with a focus on contemporary dance, circus and theater. Four shows present some of the best artists in Germany. Both productions by theaters and projects by independent artists are included.
