The Wimpfen Valley Market is one of the oldest folk festivals in Germany and takes place in Bad Wimpfen. The valley market offers six days of pure fun with fairground rides, games of skill and food and drink stalls.
The valley market developed from a church festival in the Middle Ages and is now the largest folk festival in the lowlands. The Wimpfen valley market has been taking place for over 1050 years. The church of St. Peter in Wimpfen in the valley was granted market rights and became a magnet for trade and festivities.
The famous Krämermarkt, which is one of the largest in Germany, is well worth a visit and offers a wide variety of goods for sale.
Have fun at the valley market!
