The Bremerhaven Freimarkt is a popular event in Bremerhaven that takes place every year. Around 70 showmen offer a variety of rides, children's rides, fairground rides, simulators, games, food stalls and confectionery.
There are also traditional treats such as fried dough, spicy licorice and smoked eel.
The Bremerhaven Freimarkt is one of the oldest fairs in Germany and was first held in 1035.
