The StreetArtFestival or StraßenKunstFestival Essen is an exciting event that takes place in Essen's city center. Essen's city center is transformed into a stage for street artists from all over the world.

Program: A varied program awaits visitors at seven different venues, including Kennedyplatz, Marktkirche and Flachsmarkt. The focus is on acrobatics, comedy, music and artistry.

International artists: You can look forward to artists from Australia, China, Denmark, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands and Sweden. These renowned artists will enliven the streets of Essen's city center with magic and talent.

In addition to the main shows, there will be a creative spot where visitors can get active themselves. Here you can try out various hand props, take part in workshops and network with other female athletes and artists.

Local up-and-coming artists from Essen and the surrounding area also have the opportunity to perform at the young talent shows. The artists' fee is the hat money.
