The Lippstadt Autumn Week has a long tradition dating back to 1535. That was when the festival was first mentioned in a document. Originally, the Autumn Week was a cattle market that took place in the fall. Over time, the cattle market developed into a folk festival that became increasingly popular. Today, the Lippstadt Autumn Week is one of the largest folk festivals in North Rhine-Westphalia.
Funfair: The heart of the Autumn Week is the funfair with its numerous rides for young and old. From fast-paced roller coasters to cozy children's carousels, there is something for everyone.
Festival tents: In the festival tents, you can enjoy hearty music and sociable entertainment with delicious food and cool drinks.
Firework display: On Tuesday evening, a spectacular firework display will light up the night sky over Lippstadt.
On the second Sunday of the Autumn Week, the stores in the city center open their doors for Sunday shopping.
Supporting program: In addition to the funfair hustle and bustle, the Autumn Week also offers a varied supporting program with concerts, theater performances and sporting events.
