The Gifhorn Old Town Festival has been taking place since 1982 and has become one of the most popular public festivals in the region. Every year, it attracts thousands of visitors from near and far to Gifhorn's city center.

Colorful stage program: You will find live music for every taste on several stages spread throughout the old town. From rock and pop to hits and folk music to jazz and classical music, everything is on offer.

Arts and crafts and culinary delights: You can marvel at and buy handicrafts from the region and all over the world at countless stalls. You can also sample the delicious culinary offerings, from regional specialties to international dishes.

Carousel and children's program: For younger visitors, there is a carousel and a varied children's program with games, fun and entertainment.

Fireworks: On Saturday evening, a spectacular fireworks display takes place over the Old Town.

Flea market: On Sunday morning there is a large flea market in the city center.
