The Bocholt Autumn Fair is one of the largest folk festivals in Westmünsterland and is one of the most important inner-city fairs in Germany. It takes place every year on the third weekend in October from Friday to Monday and attracts thousands of visitors.
Opening: The fair is traditionally opened by the mayor of Bocholt with a festive barrel tapping ceremony and an impressive firework display.
Attractions: Over 320 showmen present a variety of rides and stands on an area of around 30,000 m². The offer ranges from classic carousels to modern rollercoasters and culinary delights.
Visitor numbers: Every year, around 500,000 people flock to the Bocholt Autumn Fair, which offers a fascinating mix of traditional and contemporary entertainment.
