Porz Island Festival

Since 1977, the Porzer Inselfest has been a permanent fixture in the calendar of events in the Cologne region. Every year, from Ascension Day (Father's Day) to the following Sunday, the Groov leisure island in Porz-Zündorf is transformed into a vibrant festival site. Organized by the Porz CDU, it is the largest CDU festival in Germany and attracts numerous visitors.

The island festival delights with a varied stage program that includes live music, rousing dance performances and appearances by well-known Cologne bands. The funfair on the festival grounds offers rides for adrenaline junkies and a colorful range of market stalls. The culinary variety ranges from regional specialties to international delicacies, which are offered at the numerous food stalls.
