An annual event launched in 2006 by Susan P. Crawford. She is a former ICANN board member, founder of OneWebDay, and a lawyer. Her research focuses on telecommunications and information law. The idea of the holiday is to encourage the Internet community to become a public global constituency that cares about the future of the Internet.
