Recognizing patient safety as one of the important elements of providing quality medical care and supporting the decision of the 72nd World Health Assembly, the President of Ukraine decided on 4 September 2019 to establish Patient Safety Day in Ukraine, which is celebrated annually on September 17 - World Patient Safety Day.
