Louis Rwagasore (10 de enero de 1932-13 de octubre de 1961) fue un prince y político de Burundi que se desempeñó como Primer Ministro de Burundi desde el 28 de septiembre de 1961 hasta su asesinato el 13 de octubre de 1961 a manos de Jean Kageorgis de origen griego.
It is true that Louis Rwagasore grew up with the privileges of a prince: he was the eldest son of Mwambutsa Bangiricenge, King of Burundi, and had a good education in one of the most important secondary schools in Rwanda, under Belgian tutelage. After his studies in administration and agronomy in Brussels, where he had contact with students from all over the African continent, Rwagasore returned to his country in 1956 and became a prominent politician - it was his charisma and his skills as a strategist that made him a popular person.
