A product recognized worldwide for its high quality and being a source of employment for more than two million Peruvians throughout the agricultural production chain. The fourth Friday of August is celebrated in our country as Peruvian Coffee Day, which recognizes the competitive and progressive development of coffee as a flagship product and a major agricultural export, highlighting its aroma, color and flavor.
The Ministry of Agriculture instituted that every fourth Friday of the month of August as the "Day of Peruvian Coffee", through which the competitive development of coffee as a flagship product is celebrated and even more so the growth of a coffee culture among the population.
Peru has excellent conditions to produce high-quality coffee, favored by the soils and climates of coffee-growing areas such as Quillabamba, Altomayo, La Merced, Jaén, Moyobamba, San Martín and Puno.
