Created to celebrate the anniversary of the first man powered flight, Ride the Wind Day is a fun day that all members of the family can take part in.
So far I found two meanings of this idiom - 1. To live without direction, or without any specific goals; 2. to be able to accomplish "nearly limitless achievements". The context leads me to believe that this "riding the wind" means something like "grandiose, exuberant behavior".
