Hari Dokter Nasional or National Doctor's Day is celebrated in Indonesia on 24 October each year. The day also marked with the birthday celebration of the Indonesian Doctors Association (IDI, 1950).
National Doctors Day was announced for the first time on October 24 during the Indonesian Doctors Association (IDI) Congress in Ujungpandang in 1994 by the Chairman of Central Jakarta IDI, Agus Purwadianto.
