The Canada Safety Council is a proud advocate of safety for road users of all kinds. Whether you’re a cyclist, a motorcyclist, a pedestrian, a motorist, a truck driver, another class of road user or a combination of these, road safety is a shared responsibility.
Canada Safety Council’s National Safe Driving Week has existed since the 1950s and has a strong focus on impaired driving which is prevalent during the holiday period of December. The annual campaign has also focused on subjects such as driver distraction and winter driving.
