Festivities in honor of St. Peter Martyr of Verona, whose feast is celebrated on April 29. The fair usually begins on the day of the patron saint, that is, April 29, which is the most important and most intense day of the whole festival.
The celebration begins early in the morning with a Diana Floreada by a brass band and a great display of rockets that announce the beginning of the festivities. The rockets have great prominence throughout the day. The Genalguacileños fire rockets on their way to the church square, while the mass is being celebrated, when it ends and throughout the procession. The mass in honor of St. Peter Martyr of Verona takes place after noon. When it ends, the many devotees, who have attended the liturgical act, sing the hymn of the patron saint. Immediately afterwards, a group of men go to the paso to carry it. Some place a handkerchief on the platform to indicate that the place is taken.
Around ten o'clock at night, San Pedro Mártir de Verona goes out again in procession, although it is a shorter route. At the end of the procession there are fireworks and, again, dancing until dawn. During the other festive days there are nightly verbenas and other activities, some dedicated to the pensioners of the village, such as a lunch and copla performance, and parades for children.
