The day of the Political Scientist, in consonance with other professions, is celebrated on different dates around the world. In Venezuela, the Bill of Law for the Professional Practice of Political Scientists establishes in its Article 5, that "October 6 is instituted as the national day of the Venezuelan political scientist".
