National Revolution Day in Chile

It has been several years since the October Revolution of 2019, perhaps the most important political moment in the history of Chile in this 21st century. Indeed, after days of protests and evasions - "evading, not paying, another way of fighting"-, Friday, October 18 turned into a violent day that surprised the authorities and society in general.

The most visible manifestation was expressed in the violent and destructive spirit of the burning of many Metro stations (whose perpetrators and circumstances are still unknown), which started a broader process of mobilizations since the return to democracy and a general change in national politics, one of the largest in the two centuries of republican life.
