September 4 marks World Sexual Health Day, an initiative promoted by the World Association for Sexual Health (WAS) since 2010.
The purpose of this event is to raise public awareness about the promotion of sexual rights, sexual diversity, as well as sexual and reproductive health in a pleasurable way, without discrimination or risks.
It also aims to disseminate information about risk factors, sexually transmitted diseases and contagions, as well as the relevant precautions for a healthy sexual life.
