Numerous colorful processions and ceremonies take place throughout the country on November 20 to celebrate Monaco's National Day (Fête Nationale).
Glamour has returned to Monaco after a health crisis forced the cancellation in 2020 of the grand evening gala traditionally marking the end of the Principality's National Day, which has been celebrated since 1949 to mark the anniversary of the accession to the throne of Rainier III.
