International IT Security Day

Today, November 30, is the International IT Security Day, a day that seeks to raise awareness and generate awareness in each of the people about the management of information in each of the sectors.

This day is designed to increase skills and understanding of how information should be handled in each of the sectors, whether corporate, public, private and personal. This date is commemorated since 1988, when the first celebration was held in the United States, as an initiative of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM).

Subsequently, this celebration was extended to other countries around the world, which have since used this day to share reflections on best security practices.
