The organizer of this popular festival is the Aktionsgemeinschaft Freßgass' e.V., which is made up of representatives from the retail and gastronomy sectors. Since its foundation in 1974, it has set itself the task of promoting the Freßgass' and constantly making it even more attractive. The annual festival, whose proceeds also finance the Christmas lights, is therefore a thank you to all guests of this small shopping mile.
The most famous attraction is probably the annual Freßgass' festival. With over 250,000 visitors every year, it has become an integral part of Frankfurt's event culture and an indispensable part of the city's calendar of events.
