The Stade Winegrowers' Festival is a sociable event that takes place once a year at the horse market in Stade. It is a special meeting place for connoisseurs and romantics. Wine producers present their wines, sparkling wines and specialties from various growing regions. Visitors can taste and enjoy more than 250 wines, sparkling wines and specialties. The exhibitors are exclusively German winegrowers who have produced the wine on offer with their own hands.
The ceremonial opening of the Stade Winegrowers' Festival usually takes place on Thursday at 18:00. The Stade Winegrowers' Festival offers fine wines, culinary delights and discreet entertainment for a long weekend in the Hanseatic city of Stade. It is a highlight of the Winzerfest tour and attracts residents and tourists every year.
