Father's Day in Egypt

There are 1.5 billion fathers worldwide. The day is held on various dates across the world, and different regions maintain their own traditions of honoring fatherhood. Just like the West, many Arabic speaking countries wish their fathers a “Happy Father's Day” every year. Greetings to every super dad who invests in his children’s development by spending time, sharing interests and playing!

Father's Day is a holiday of honoring fatherhood and paternal bonds, as well as the influence of fathers in society. The holiday complements similar celebrations honoring family members, such as Mother's Day, Siblings Day, and Grandparents' Day.

Surely most fathers will be spending today relaxing with their families: having brunch with those near and dear, or reading special postcards, emails, or texts from those children who are far away.
