Occupational therapy is ranked #10 as the best health care job by US News and World Report in 2021. Approximately 27% of occupational therapists work with children in early intervention and the school systems. Occupational therapists and physical therapists are different but work closely together.
Every year we celebrate National Occupational Therapy (OT) Month throughout the month of October. This is a time to recognize the important work these health-care professionals do helping Canadians overcome physical, mental and cognitive barriers. With the help of OTs, Canadians can participate fully in the activities that mean most to them.
