Memorial Day for the Sincelejo tragedy in Colombia

Many years have passed since the fall of the corralejas in Sincelejo and the memory of the tragedy is still intact in the men and women of Sabana, those who every January 20 mourn their dead like on that painful day.

That January 20, 1980, at 3:45 in the afternoon, part of the wooden boxes collapsed like a house of cards, leaving nearly 500 people dead and thousands injured, crippled for life.
