Father's Day in Brazil and Samoa

Father's Day is celebrated on March 19 in countries with a European Catholic tradition as it coincides with Saint Joseph's Day.

Father's Day in Brazil is, like in many other countries, a special day to recognize all the sacrifices that our father made for us. On this day, parents are congratulated as a tribute with gifts and recognition for their children (not only children pay tribute, although our parents always see us as their little ones, right?).

Brazil is a country where we can find many men who have the same name as their father. That's why they use Junior or Filho at the end of their name. And also, if they are the third generation we can find the name Neto (grandson). It is a common thing here to honor our father.
