Seven Sleeping Day in Latvia
Seven Sleeping Day in Latvia is held on July 27. Septinu guletaju diena has been celebrated since 1907. According to legend dating back to the 5th century, under King Decius, during the persecution of Christians, young Christians hid in a cave in Ephesus. After about 200 years they woke up to continue their missionary work. This event in the third decade of the month July is annual.
