August 23 marks the Naval Aviator Day, whose history began in 1916, with the creation of the Naval Aviation School, the first military aviation school in Brazil.
In these years of existence, Naval Aviation has been tracing a path marked by pioneering spirit, remembering that just ten years after the first flight of the 14Bis by Santos Dumont, the Brazilian Navy was already making history with the Curtiss F 1916 aircraft, initiating the conquest of the operation air force for the benefit of the Fleet's resources.
