The National Anthem of Bolivia was heard for the first time on November 18, 1845, 170 years ago, in front of the government palace, in the city of La Paz, the authors were Leopoldo Benedetto Vincentti and Dr. José Ingacio de Sanginés.
The lyrics of the National Anthem of Bolivia is a solemn song in honor of Bolivia, it is about the heroic deeds and recalls the enormous sacrifices that cost the Independence and Freedom of the Homeland.
During the presidency of General Manuel Isidoro Belzú in 1851, by Supreme Decree this patriotic song was made official as the National Anthem of Bolivia.
