The Rhine Fair in Düsseldorf, also known as the "biggest fair on the Rhine", is a folk festival with a long tradition and colorful variety. It takes place every year on the third weekend in July and lasts for 10 days.
Over 300 rides and stalls: from fast-paced rollercoasters and Ferris wheels to cozy carousels and games stands, the Rhine Fair has something for everyone.

Historical parade: The traditional parade with magnificently decorated floats, marksmen and bands takes place on the second Sunday of the fair.
Fireworks: On the last Saturday of the fair, a spectacular firework display lights up the night sky over the Rhine.
Various theme days: Special events take place on various days of the fair, such as the family day with reduced prices or the senior citizens' day.
The Rhine fair has a long tradition dating back to 1288. It originally took place as a shooting festival in honor of St. Apollinaris. Over the centuries, it developed into one of the largest public festivals in Germany.
Today, the Rheinkirmes is an integral part of Düsseldorf's cultural calendar and attracts millions of visitors from all over the world every year.
