National Sons Day was founded by Jill Nico in 2018. The holiday's creator, Jill Nico, was inspired to create it after she saw there was a holiday dedicated to daughters but none dedicated solely to sons. National Sons Day is a day to celebrate and recognize the special importance and significance of being a son and raising sons. Sons will be future fathers, role models, and leaders. The importance of the role of sons in the lives of their families and the honor of raising up son's will be emphasized. On National Sons Day, every March 4 and September 28, we think about our boys and the legacy we leave behind as parents.
