The Egyptians wove flowers, foliages, and fruit together to create wreaths and garlands. The earliest known flower arranging dates back to ancient Egypt. Egyptians were decorating with flowers as early as 2,500 BCE. They regularly placed cut flowers in vases, and highly stylized arrangements were used during burials, for processions, and simply as table decorations.
The art of floral design plays an important role in our society. It is an important part of social interactions and interior design. It is important in relationships and for enhancing the overall quality of our lives. Working with flowers is fun but also brings a dimension to our life that is purely pleasing.
