Father's Day the Kiribati Way is an organized Father's Day program held in the evening, for example in Moroni Parish was organized by the Relief Society. Since Moroni Parish is mostly made up of students, there are not many fathers in the parish.
The evening began with traditional dances, a home video honoring the fathers, a communal dinner, and ended with the awarding of small gold medals to the fathers for a special talent defined by their wives.
