United Arab Emirates Flag Day is held on November 3. The UAE Flag Day is commemorated on November 3 every year since it was first launched in 2013 by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. This event in the first decade of the month November is annual.

UAE flag was designed by Abdullah Mohammed Al Maainah. First use of the UAE flag was on December 2, 1971. Late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan was first to hoist the flag. UAE Flag Day was first launched in 2013. UAE Flag Day is celebrated every year on November 3. UAE Flag Day marks the ascension of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who became president of the UAE in 2004.
The UAE was the first country in the world to appoint a minister for artificial intelligence.
