Time for a Cuppa week is 1st-8th May, but you can hold your event on any date that suits you. Every May, Dementia UK hosts ‘Time for a Cuppa’, a day dedicated to enjoying a cup of tea with someone to raise funds for Admiral Nurses.
Dementia UK is a charity that provides specialist dementia support for families through the Admiral Nurse service. When things get challenging for people with dementia, and their families, Admiral Nurses work alongside them. They give the compassionate one-to-one support, guidance and practical solutions that people need.
They also run a national Admiral Nurse Dementia Helpline. It is staffed by experienced Admiral Nurses and is for family members, professional carers, people with dementia and those worried about their memory.
