Easter Monday is the day after Easter Sunday and is a holiday in some countries. Today is Easter Monday, or Bright Monday as it is called in the Eastern Orthodox Church, or Dyngus Day as it is celebrated by Polish Americans. In England on Easter Monday, a village called Hallaton, Leicestershire, holds a bottle kicking contest where the winning team is able to kick or move a bottle a mile from the starting point over two streams.
