Traditionally, the level of education required to become a copywriter was most often a bachelor's degree in English, advertising, journalism or marketing.

The Polish student organization Coffeewriters UMK developed this idea in 2020. Coffee-work-coffee: why the choice fell on September 30? This creative activity became popular not so long ago, but now copywriting is an important part of brand development. So it's no surprise that we celebrate World Copywriter's Day after Polish Coffee Day and before International Coffee Day.
Although copywriting seems to be a modern industry, the story begins in the 19th century. In modern interpretation, copywriting also refers to writing for websites or even any custom writing.
In 2018, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported an average annual salary of $62,170 for writers and authors. In 2019, PayScale.com stated that expected salaries for copywriters range from $35,000 to $73,000.
